16-Universe+ Ethernet to SPI pixel converter with overdrive mode
The Pixelator Mini is an installation-grade pixel converter that simplifies LED pixel dot and strip control. As part of ENTTEC's PLink system, it provides 8 Ethernet ports for SPI pixel conversion, handling 16 Universes (32 in overdrive mode) of Art-Net, sACN, and ESP with data integrity up to 300m.
Connect a Plink INJECTOR to each port to convert control data to SPI protocols, ensuring seamless signal transmission to LED pixel fixtures. ideal for large projects, the Pixelator Mini supports over 20 LED protocols and custom protocols, with firmware updates and configuration available through its localhost web interface. For outdoor use, pair it with an outdoor PLink INJECTOR or our CVC4 dimmers for minimal configuration and extensive control.

Easy, web-based configuration
ENTTEC are proud to have pioneered the introduction of user-friendly web browser interfaces in the lighting control sector. Just like all ENTTEC network products, simply connect to your PIXELATOR MINI from anywhere on the same network using your favourite web browser to configure, manage and update your device settings. It’s that simple!

8 x 2U = 32U?
That’s right! Although ostensibly a 16-universe LED controller, the PIXELATOR MINI will efficiently convert up to 32 universes of DMX-over-Ethernet to PLink pixel data (4U per output), with auto-activation of Overdrive Mode when configured to output more than 2U per port – because you never know when you might need that little bit extra.
Installer-friendly
Jam-packed with features to make your installation run smoothly. Select any input universe number and assign it to any output port, or reduce your DMX input control channel count by creating pixel groups. Choose from static or DHCP network configurations, and configure pixel ordering with ease to patch any standard fixture type in your lighting controller. The list goes on!
Stay in sync
Each of the PIXELATOR MINI’s eight PLink output ports can run its own frame rate and universe count, so one controller can drive very different parts of an installation. Where content has to line up across outputs or across several devices, keep frames short and run above 35 FPS: at that rate any small timing difference between outputs is far less noticeable, so large LED matrixes spanning multiple devices play back smoothly, without visible tearing.
Protocol flexibility
Control up to 32 universes of pixels (4,096 RGBW / 5,440 RGB / 16,384 W), and output more than 20 different built-in pixel protocols. What’s more, you can output up to two different protocols simultaneously: one using ports 1-4 and the other via ports 5-8. In the event of a missing protocol, our custom feature allows users to create their own protocol for any desired pixel fixture anytime – without having to submit a support request for new firmware.
Rock-solid surge protection
The PIXELATOR MINI has been engineered with surge protection for serious 24/7 operation. If your data cabling has a fault that causes a spike in voltage, a heavy-handed installer gives it static shock, or maybe your DMX lines have a lot of electrical noise on them, the issue won’t be passed through the device to your other equipment. Any disturbance is automatically suppressed.
3-year warranty
ENTTEC are proud to back up the confidence in our research, engineering and quality control with a 3-year return-to-base manufacturer warranty on this product.
International compliance
The UL Listed Mark is a tier of UL approval for stand-alone consumables that have undergone rigorous testing by Underwriters Laboratories LLC. UL Listed means the product meets internationally recognised standards for sustainability and safety.
This ENTTEC product also conforms to the following international compliance and safety standards:
Let’s get started!
It’s so easy to produce great shows over long distances with a PIXELATOR MINI as part of your lighting kit. Follow this short demonstration to learn about the essential features of the device, and see how simple it is to convert DMX Ethernet to SPI pixel protocols.
You’ll be thrilling your audiences in no time!
NOTE: The Pixelator Mini has seen a number of handy capability upgrades and a very subtle visual tweak since this unboxing video was made using the REV B unit. The core functionality of the Pixelator Mini remains the same, but be sure to have a good read of this webpage for all the latest information and available features.
