House of Hype is Dubai Mall’s newest and most electrifying attraction, blending immersive technology with high-energy entertainment. Spanning approximately 100,000 sq. ft. in the Chinatown area, HOH is an adventure playground like no other, featuring mesmerizing worlds, interactive games, thrilling performances, exclusive shopping, and epic surprises at every turn.

Designed to be more than just a gaming hub, it's a permanent installation where technology, design, and creativity converge to form a next-level experience. With immersive lighting as a core element, every inch of the space pulses with vibrant colors and dynamic effects, enhancing the attraction’s energy and excitement.

To craft a truly immersive environment, lighting designer Martin Roberts (@emittiv) turned to ENTTEC’s cutting-edge lighting control solutions. The goal? To create stunning, responsive lighting experiences that seamlessly adapt to their surroundings, amplifying the magic within each uniquely themed space. By utilizing an advanced DMX-controlled system, he orchestrated a symphony of light that shifts, reacts, and evolves with visitors’ movements.

The House of Hype’s lighting installation is a feat of engineering and creativity, combining customized LED solutions and pixel-based control systems.

The lighting design includes a range of ENTTEC products, such as the ELM software, Pixelator Mini, Storm10, OCTO, DIN Ethergate, and CVC4.

These are paired with over 3,000 PXL40 Dots, PXL100x25 Dots, RGBW LED strips, and custom-cut Neon Flex, ensuring that every corner of House of Hype has a tailored lighting solution.

This extensive lighting system ensures that every zone in House of Hype has a custom ambiance, from mirror mazes and neon passageways to futuristic lounge areas and hyperreal set pieces. The lighting responds to visitor movement and environmental cues, making the experience not just visual but emotional and interactive.

House of Hype’s lighting system is more than just aesthetic, it enhances the overall experience by reacting to the movement and energy of the visitors, making every interaction feel unique.
